Currently the only external grip control that can function with it as a record trigger is the Blackmagic Zoom Demand, which is massive and awkward. A handle like this would be an ideal solution to this problem, and open up many rigging options. The only down side is this doesn’t seem to offer a USB pass through, which still means a hub would be required for the hard drive.
